The joy of giving gifts! Receiving pressies will always be pleasurable, but I am sure most of you agree that the feeling of giving something (even if it's just a small thought) can never be compared to the 'receiving' bit.
I'm always getting more convinced that I'm a shopaholic and thus find every sort of excuse to go out and buy something (anything really :/). I love buying gifts for family and closest friends; buying them things which I'd gladly buy for myself (this reminds me of the countless times I've kept the 'gifts' to myself because I couldn't get myself to part ways from the recently acquired items, only to go out again and buy another gift!) The challenge, however, starts when I have to buy stuff for someone who I don't know really well, in instances which require a gift or the exchange of presents. I always try to be as creative as possible. But when I receive the nth bottle of eau de toilette, lack of enthusiasm takes over and I find myself solemnly deciding that next time round I won't put so much effort into it.
My question to you: What are you most likely to give someone who you don't know really well; who's possibly just an acquaintance?!
