NYX-ie for the night :)

I had been looking forward to NYX preview ever since I received their invite, so yesterday saw me starting off with my getting-ready-to-go-out-routine earlier than usual. Whilst side parting my hair I looked at my white dress, hanging just outside my wardrobe door and momentarily panicked when I couldn't find my new NYX matte lip cream which I intended using for the night. At 7.55pm I was parking my car at Sliema and some 15 minutes later I secretly felt special whilst stepping in NYX shop. And the NYX people did make us feel special indeed!

 

 

 

After I helped myself to a chilled fragolino at the entrance, we were given a brief but striking introduction about the wide selection of products available at NYX, whether matte or shiny, creamy or powdery and in the most vibrant of colours (yeah, I know you know - I'm colour-crazy). Most of my time at the event was spent snapping photos of the various products and decor inside the shop; wanted to treat you guys to the products and colours which stuck me most (you'll notice I took pictures of almost every product in the shop; goes to say I was more than hooked on the numerous items on display). After happily swatching what seemed like truckloads of products, we even got to enjoy some time in NYX intimate make up parlour downstairs, ideal for pampering and being pampered! :D

 

Some snapshots and several giggles with fellow bloggers later, I was enthusiastically going round the shop again to give some of the products a new home (hihi, I managed to bag myself another 7 products, including a small nude palette).  It has been a night to remember; filled with make-up (which bdw also smells delicious), pretty conversations with bloggers and the experts at NYX, yummy food (those macaroons!!) and shopping.
