Last week I was at Sliema and figured that I had to get my hands on a couple of butter glosses, mostly because everyone seems to be raving about them on the social network at the moment. These butter glosses come in a number of shades, and all in cool, scrumptious names!
I got myself two of these butter glosses: the Vanilla cream pie one and a brownish one called Tiramisu. In Malta they retail at Eur7 and you get a fair amount of product (8ml) so that's already a big plus! But even better than that is the fact that the glosses live to their name in that they have a buttery, creamy texture which moisturizes the lips. Yep, these glosses glide right on without being sticky.
Whilst on some other reviews and photos I noticed that the product provides medium to full coverage, I must say that the overall coverage on me is more on the sheerish level. But I don't mind that - in this case, the tasty fruity flavor of the butter gloss kind of compensates for that ;)
The only downside to these products (in my case) lies with the shades of the glosses. When I was swatching the different testers I couldn't but notice that the lighter ones looked boring on me - it kind of wasn't working on me. But again, that's just my experience and the medium skin tone.
Do I recommend them? Oh YES!! Yes!
