11 pairs of black trousers/jeans, 4 white skirts (only variant between skirts being a couple of centimeters), 9 bronze-plated long necklaces (2 of which are exactly the same!). Why do I owe all these similar items in the first place?!
Ok, so I may be a season’s person when it comes to fashion. Over the past years, I made going-to-one-of-the-nearest-shopping-malls-at-least-twice a week a ritual :/ Each time I walk into a shop, I go in with the same enthusiasm of a teenager who realizes she’s allowed to spend all of her college allowance (at least just for once) on clothes!!
The regular shopping-mall-visits have seen me learn teaming up outfits mentally within just a couple of seconds of seeing what’s on display on a shop-floor. It’s as if the folded tops and hanging jackets call out to me to buy them with the skirt on the mannequin. “Dorianne, pick me!” goes the ivory big-buckle belt. “I go perfectly well with your recently-purchased navy blue mini-dress” goes the tan peep-toe sandals. I guess it’s like spotting someone on a dance floor and immediately sensing he will make the ideal Mr.Right! The consequences of that you pay later on.
Speaking of which - who’s suffering?! My bank account! What will I do with my 11 pairs of black trousers? I’m gonna have to figure that out and let you know in another blog!
