I'm usually quite a chatterbox but last Saturday I was unstoppable!! As I gulped some more wine, I went on and on about how great and powerful it all was. It's just that Charles & Ron Pre-Fall 2015 collection as part of Moda Malta last Saturday is going to be a difficult one to forget.
Admittedly, I had been looking forward to the launch of C&R's Pre-Fall Collection for ages because after their debut during Malta Fashion Week Awards 2014 last summer I knew I was in for a spectacular show. But as soon as the first model swaggered past us meaning business, we all knew it was going to be even BIGGER. The combination of velvet, damasks and fur together with the craft of ganutell, which happens to be the inspiration behind this impressive collection, left us astonished each time another model strutted her stuff in yet another piece of art. C&R's floral designs coupled with some much sharper detailing never looked so right, and what about the mittens trimmed with fur and the bucket bag paraded by Amy?! I'm with you - out of this world!
When we thought we couldn't handle the sight of yet another perfect creation, Charles & Ron just came and gave us their show stopper - an intense black velvet gown embellished with ganutell. Now if that's not superb, I don't know what is.
