Since I can remember I’ve been a fan of motivating quotes – I always found they inspired me and bring out the philosophical whiz in me! I can’t say I have a favourite quote; it’s more like a quote-for-every-occasion-and-episode kind of thing. “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s learning to dance in the rain’’ and “The best thing about memories is making them” come to mind. Then there’s “Darkness only exists so you can see the stars shine”, “I

Cold Pressed Juices - the real thing!

I heard about these yummy cold pressed juices by chance, but boy am I glad I did?!!! You see, these days I don't really have time to juice my own Fruit & Veg but I so miss the mornings when mum used to squeeze some tasty, healthy juices for us. As luck may have it, we're now in for a treat because Cold Pressed Juices come in 8 different flavours; deep green, clean green, lemonade, deep beet, light beet, apple carrot & ginger, carrot and apple.

Products which I've been loving during the Christmas period

I'm not usually one who loses her head over red pieces; in my head anything which is too red transmits tension whereas whatever is not red enough doesn't deserve to be "called" red! So I'm not usually one to fall in love with red items, except during Christmas of course.

Giving amika a try. So far I'm impressed

Those who know me well know better than to start a conversation with me about hair. I love experimenting with hair products and flicking through magazines to stay updated with the latest hairstyles worn on red carpets, don't get me wrong, but my hair has always been one of the few things I don't really like about myself and speaking about or showing off hairstyles makes me feel somewhat uncomfy and insecure.  It's been over two decades of experimenting with

If you happen to wanna go Matte - Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

In my case, having normal to dry skin means that powder is not something I particularly reach out for. Yet, after getting curious and trying out Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder I can safely say I'm impressed how incredibly light this powder feels on my skin; it really feels as if you're not wearing anything over your foundation and/or alongside your blusher.

Viva Carioca!!!

If you've read yesterday's blog, then you'd be aware that yesterday started as a crappy day for me. What you don't know yet is that it eventually turned out to be a better day thanks to a stroll on the beach, a cocktail (two actually) and this bright chubby gloss in shade Hot Shot Pink!! ;)

Yves Rocher Botanical SCRUB!

Thanks to my obsession with following beauty blogs and vlogs, I’m constantly reminded about the importance of a healthy, soft & velvety skin. I keep hearing about the 3-step winning formula: scrubbing your skin, moisturizing it and drinking plenty of water.  With regards to the latter, I’m already at a disadvantage as drinking water is something I’ve despised and learnt to avoid since I was a child – silly of me, I know. So I’m really trying to drink

"I don't do candles. I do melts; MELTS is what I do"

"I'm not good at selling myself, I don't like being the centre of attention yet I'm a people's person" is what Stace said when I asked her to tell me three things about herself. 'She's not good at selling herself when she has this awesome shop?', I wondered as I admired the nice decor and sniffed at a heart-shaped melt that was lying in front of me.

Heart shaped candles this Valentine's Day?!!

Despite not being a huge fan of Valentine's day, I've always been one who likes to treat her Valentine (during those Valentine days when I did have a Valentine that is:)) to a small treat. Last week I came across some products of a very talented local entrepreneur, who has been busy working on the most awesome of Valentine candles! Given that I'm a huge fan of candles and whatever is

Those of you who follow this blog should know by now that I'm a huge fan of Bucket Lists! :D But the best one I've come across so far must belong to this cool blogger I've discovered just recently - Danielle from Newcastle. In this post of hers - My Bucket List. 1 Year Update - Danielle lists her 50-things-to-do-before-you-die! The most curious

Some Kellina's Thoughts...

I've always been one to try and allocate some kind of pattern to each thing I do; use my finger to quickly 'scribble' "I know" on my hand as soon as I deduct what is going to be said prior to it being said, counting my way up the stairs and expecting an even number for the last step (if no, I'd have to go down again, and skip a number somewhere along the way up so I'll finish the ritual with an even number), always leave the 'middle-bit' of whatever I'm

A serene, cosy wine bar - for the locals

Cellini is a  wine bar & bistro situated in the heart of the village of Naxxar, Malta.  The wine bar has a cosy, warm glow to it, which makes you feel welcome immediately whilst looking forward to treat yourself to a good bottle of wine.

In a number of my blogs I've mentioned how my 27 years of age are now taking over, in a way that I tend to prefer relaxed outings and
