I'd love to think that I'm a fashion-follower who is always very keen to know about the latest trends, and why not, be the owner of some very cool garments. But just like everyone else I have a friend who is a tad more stylish, one who is always that one step ahead of me. 

Her latest purchase? This beauty - a Ted Baker Florar Pencil Case (available in both black and pale pink) 

We're all against materiality and frivolity, but I can't help wishing for some bits and bobs every now and then. There's that gorgeous figure-hugging dress I saw at ZARA and a couple of NARS blushers I'd love to try. And perhaps a pair of stud earrings, but the latter can wait...for a week or

What a week this has been!  With lots of exciting highs and some difficult lows.  In the end, I always choose to remember the highs; I've always been one to take lows very badly but then I instantly get over everything and can only remember the good things - as if the negative occurences would have never taken place. So in a way I'm lucky ;)

Saturday morning I went to NYX outlet (which, as all of you know by now, is located in Tower Road, Sliema) and since I knew exactly what I wanted, I headed straight to the lips section.

Sometime tomorrow I will be writing my review on the NYX products I've tried (and loved!) so far - The Ultimate Pearl Eye Shadow (colour UP 18), Jumbo Eye Pencil in 604 Milk and La Amoureux Mascara (BMC 06).

As you readers may know, I've never been that keen on make-up and make-up brands. So whilst some facebookers were happy to announce that they 'finally could get their favourite NYX products locally', I was more like 'Ok, let me try them out, see how it goes'. 

The actual outcome?! Boy, I'm impressed! :)

One whole week in Florence - what a dream come true!

I've been wanting to visit Florence for ages, and I finally got to do so last week!! The culture? Explosive! The food? Glorious! The fashion? No words

We may make more of an effort than we do on weekdays when choosing an outfit for Friday night and then we tend to dress it up on a Saturday. But hey, Sunday is Relaxation Day! So I usually like to keep it light on Sundays, even when it comes to outfits!

I do love summer but during these last days of spring I'm trying to make the most of layering my outfits. I find that layering adds so much to an outfit, whether it's with a scarf, a cardigan or jewellery.
