Oh what a beautiful morning,
This weekend, my friend introduced me to National Geographic's photo gallery online. Her pick was related to a "Paris in Black and White" theme.
Woke up feeling slightly down. Am bored and a bit upset, but I guess everyone experiences these awkward moments every now and then.
Now this is a tough one! Some say that one of the ‘qualities’ of us women is being complicated. Sometimes our ‘NO’ is in fact a ‘YES’, and sometimes it does not. Sometimes our ‘bugger off’ has to be interpreted as a request for attention, and sometimes we really mean it. At times, it can even get more complex whilst we change our mind half-way!
The other day I was rushing some last minute errands when I was forced to stop (read press your nose to the glass window and stare longingly) and enter a small cake shop. A delicious, pocket-sized cake caught my attention and I had no other option but to take it (and its companion) home.
- Go for a walk in the countryside or whichever place relaxes you
- Dance the Cha Cha Slide (DJ Casper)
- Read a biography
- Go buy yourself different types of sweets and feel lucky you’re spoilt for choice upon your return home
- Come up with a theme
Someone I know had the cheek to tease me about the extent of my knowledge re football and the much awaited Euro 2012. In this case I can't but admit that though I try to keep up with what's going on during these games, the level of expertise is somewhere very close to nil. And so, when it comes to Euro 2012- related predictions, and as this very 'kind' soul suggested, (don't) ask...
Daydreamer me has always been smitten by the idea of eternal love. I can clearly remember myself wondering and fantasising about my soul mate. I speak in the past and that’s not because I no longer believe in this ‘phenomenon’. But today I’m probably no longer obsessed by the idea.
This morning I was disturbed by an unwelcomed guest...
Then I gave him a piece of my mind!
Buttons can be functional but they can also be FASHIONABLE!! Craft stores and vintage clothing shops will definetly have tons of colourful and original buttons for you to be crafty and use in your creations. Whether it's on t-shirts, pillowcases, drawers or clocks, buttons can make magic!
Whoever said that a girl is at the prime of her life at the age of 30 must have been drunk! At the age of 27 I’m already growing tired of that big cloud on top of my head; not cloud number 9 (Bryan Adams’ song – God bless his soul), but one which spits the first white hairs and wrinkles. And I’m definitely not loving it!
